Postgraduate

Students take the following core modules: Japanese to English Consecutive Interpreting, English to Japanese Consecutive Interpreting, Japanese to English Simultaneous Interpreting, English to Japanese Simultaneous Interpreting, Liaison Interpreting, Japanese to English Translation, English to Japanese Translation, Public Service Interpreting, Business English or Business Japanese. Students also attend mini-conferences throughout the year. The following modules are optional in the second semester: Japanese to English Additional Translation, English to Japanese Additional Translation. There are several extra modules available for students to attend that are non-compulsory: Economics and Globalization, International Economics, Elements of English Law, International Law.
