Related Activities In 1996/1997 the Centre for Asia-Pacific Studies for research and teaching was opened and is situated in the Department of International Studies. The Co-Director, Mr Neil Renwick, works closely with Japanese Studies and has published work on US/Japanese relations. The Centre runs an MA in Asia-Pacific Studies and the BA in International Relations has three final-year modules related to the Asia-Pacific region. Currently there are no specific Japan-related theses being supervised but this is an area the Centre wishes to develop.
Japan Societies/Club Activities Japanese Society launched last December. |
