Japan Societies/Club Activities Reading University has the following Japan-related clubs and societies: Aikido Club Future Developments The University has a new Language Centre, which opened in January 2007. It has a spacious Self-Access Centre for Language Learning with 30 PC workstations with digitised language resource material and access to TV satellite programmes, so that students can, for example, listen to the news, watch films, work through course material, and work on their pronunciation. There is an additional study area for working individually or in groups. The multi-media classrooms have PCs built into each student's desk as well as a SMART Board. |
